Stopping Land Protection Plan - Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge

On January 31st House Representative Joey Arrington introduced 4 pieces of legislations, HR839 - HR840 - HR841 - HR842, in what appears to be an attempt to stop the Fish & Wildlife Service from implementing a land plan for Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge. Not sure why he is pushing all of this legislation, but I would assume the land owners around the area aren’t wanting to sell the 700,000 acres of land the F&W Service is looking to acquire for preservation/conservation.
